After the creation of the A.S.B.F. association the 5 founding members got the assistance of new members and with the help of the town officials an museum was set in place in the town hall of the village.

More and more material and dioramas were put on display and very soon afterwards some more rooms had to be taken in on the same floor .
One of these rooms is dedicated to World War II.

Every item on display has a nametag giving a short explanation in French, English and German. This enables almost every visitor, whatever his or her nationality to make a self guided four of the museum.

The discovery of several World War I constructions ha given a new dimension to the existence of the A.S.B.F. Association.
A dynamic sub-branche is busy during 6 months every year to excavate the reminders of past times.

The next goal of the association members is to create, with the help of the town officials, a library and a documentation center concentrating all information to be found concerning the Weppes area during both world Wars.
